ADOS-2 International advanced booster training

This advanced booster training will provide opportunities to score, consensus code and discuss ADOS-2. There will also be presentations about ADOS-related topics.

About the course

The booster is held by KIND (Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at Karolinska Institutet) in collaboration with ADOS-2 Independent Trainers Somer Bishop, Ph.D., Professor in Psychiatry at University of California San Francisco and Amy Esler, PhD., Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of Minnesota.

Of note: If you plan to attend the advanced booster at the University of Minnesota in November 2022, please beware that the programme of this course has similarities to that of the advanced booster at University of Minnesota.

The goal of the course

The goal is to score, consensus code and discuss ADOS-2 recordings and further, to get an opportunity to discuss and learn more about ADOS-2 related topics.

Time and place

Course dates: 2nd -3rd of May 2023.

  • Day 1: 8:30-16:30
  • Day 2: 8:30-16.00

The course will take place at Dalarnas Hus, Vasagatan 46, Stockholm, Sweden.

Target group

Official ADOS-2 trainers and ADOS-2 research reliable professionals.

Course content

  • Coding and consensus scoring of two ADOS-2 modules.
  • Clinical topics.
  • Presentations about ADOS-related research/topics.

Eligibility

Participants need to be ADOS-2 trainers or have established research reliability.

In Sweden competence development at higher education institutions is delivered in the form of "contract education". Contract education means that executive and professional education courses can only be commissioned and paid for by a legal entity, a company, organisation or the equivalent. Detailed information about contract education can be found in the ordinance on contract education at higher education institutions (2002:760), on the Swedish Council for Higher Education's website.

Price

1 000 USD. (VAT may be added in addition to this amount). 1 000 USD equals to 11 350 SEK.

Includes: coffee/tea (morning and afternoon), lunch, snacks and refreshments during the day.

KI will send an invoice to the Customer approximately 6 weeks before the start of the course with a payment term of 30 days. The invoice will be sent by mail to the invoice address stated in the registration.

Please note that the course is subject to the condition that we receive a sufficient number of participants (25 participants at a minimum).
